Hello and welcome to my website
I am Johanna Lönnfors, a Finnish mezzo-soprano. My repertoire ranges from early baroque to contemporary music. I believe in the power of music, and the unique way it allows us to communicate. Chamber music inspires me always, and I love to work with musicians specialized in early music, although I find lied repertoire, opera-arias and cabaret music very much inspiring as well. I am also curious about new ways of performing the classical repertoire in collaboration with the visual arts. I find working with the voice very exciting and therefore I also like being in the coaching role.
